Join us for the 2nd annual Searchmont Music Festival taking place on August 23,24 and 25, 2013. Music has always been an important part of the life and culture of the Algoma region and the Searchmont Music Festival is celebration of this tradition. Musicians and artists are coming together from the region and beyond for this magical 2 day event.
Taking place at the Searchmont Resort in the beautiful Goulais River valley, just as the fall color season begins, 3 stages will host more than 20 different musical acts. Artisans will share and sell their works. There will even be a classic car show. Whether you are a performer, artist or a fan, you will feel welcome and at home. In addition there will be workshops on song writing and crafts, a fitness challenge, a silent auction and plenty of activities for kids of all ages.
Beyond the music, this festival is an expression of community. The musicians and artists putting on this festival, love Searchmont and are harnessing their own creativity and talent to introduce visitors to unique beauty and culture of this community.
